On January 21, 2009, at about five pm, I slipped on an icy sidewalk in Boston. I fell hard on my right elbow. I didn’t discover until later, after I got off the CT1 bus in Cambridge, that my ipod mp3 player was missing. I still had the headphones. It must have slipped out of my pocket when I fell.
